Dhamma Kuta strictly enforces the standard Goenka 10-day protocol. All students must observe Noble Silence from Day 1 evening until Day 10 morning:

  • No Communication: No speaking, gestures, eye contact, or note-passing with fellow students.
  • Digital & Mental Detox: All mobile phones, laptops, books, journals, and pens are locked away in security lockers.

Each day consists of approximately 10 hours of sitting meditation divided between the main Dhamma hall and individual meditation cells (*pagodas*):

Meals are 100% vegetarian, fresh, and nutritious—featuring Sri Lankan red rice, lentil dhal, mild vegetable curries, and local tropical fruits (papaya, bananas). New students receive a light fruit and tea meal at 5:00 PM, while returning students take only warm lemon water.
